Dulfersitz Rappelling

Helicopter Rappelling
This type of rappelling comes in use for braving forest fire and at the time of law enforcement by military. Rules, signals, uniform etc. are devised and set by Geographic Area Coordination Center’s National Interagency Fire Center (GACC)’s Rappell Guide Working Group. Double kernmantle rope is set on a fixed point in a helicopter.
Stretch of the rope is very low but heat resistance is more. Do you know how is coming down the rope is regulated? Double rope is passed through a mechanical friction brake. Here, descending equipment is necessary as you don’t have a ground to lean on or to rest your weight on.

Nice Post and good information about "Rappelling".Keep it up
Rappelling is not a kid work. Without a healthy heart and peaceful mind, no one can dare to think about rappelling. After carrying all these manners, one must have at least beginner training before to start. It's seems as easy to other, it's as hard for those who do.
Nice post. It reminds me of my mountaineering days. It is so fulfilling indeed when you conquered your fear. I missed those outdoor activities.
Looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot in the way of mountains down here in Florida.
